What is EPICC?
Emergency Preparedness In Coastal Communities
Emergency Preparedness
EPICC is committed to improving emergency preparedness for traumatic, medical, and environmental emergencies in remote regions around the world.
EPICC Plan of Action
Outlines the steps to an effective community-based response for preserving life and transporting patients to higher care.
This program is dedicated to coordinating local resources and personnel for proper preparedness in emergency situations.
Breaking down cultural beliefs:
-
Most cultures have deep seeded medical beliefs and practices that can actually endanger patients.
-
We break down these beliefs and start the respectful transition into modern medical practices.

-
Teaching the importance of proper emergency preparedness instills motivation to save others.
Engaging instructors:
-
Our instructors are the most vital part to our organization. Learning from first responders allows students to get feedback from individuals who have actual experience saving lives.

-
We make sure our instructors are versed in the material and are engaging, creating a positive learning environment.
EPICC PROGRAM
Preparing communities, one emergency at a time.
Mission
To improve the quality, efficiency, and overall access of emergency preparedness and emergency response systems in remote coastal regions around the world.
Connecting first responders to outreach in their communities.
Making a significant impact in the lives of others.
Giving first responders the opportunity to connect with their communities.
Project Moonlight was established by first responders who valued making an impact in the community, even when off duty.
That is why we decided to create opportunities for first responders to build relationships and important experiences within their own communities.
Outreach Matters
First responders put their life on the line everyday to help others.
Connecting these heroes to their own communities outside the line of work, holds so much value.
